Want to make a delicious cupcake with me?

Materials:
  • Chocolate icing
  • 6 oz / 175g self-raising flour
  • 5 oz / 150g butter, softened
  • 5 oz (150g) superfine (caster) sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or essence
  • 2oz /50g chocolate chips (optional)
1.7 oz / 50g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Icing or sprinkles at the end if you want.
What to do:
1. Get a baking tray and put in the cupcake liners.
2. Crack the eggs into a bowl and put the shells in the bin.
3. Use the beater to beat the eggs for 20 seconds.
4. Put all the other ingredients in another bowl and add the beaten eggs in. Put the chocolate chips in a small bowl. 5. Use the egg beater to mix all the ingredients together for 20 seconds.
6. Spoon a tablespoon scoop of the batter into each of the cupcake papers.
7. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of each cupcake.
8. Place the tray into the oven. Bake it for about 18 to 20 minutes.
9. Remove the tray of cupcakes out of the oven and leave the cupcakes to cool down completely.
10. Put icing and sprinkles on top.

Do you want to know how to wash the dishes?

WALT - Write a procedure.
Success criteria I know this when I write 7 Instructions in order on how to wash the dishes.

What you need is:
  • soap
  • hot and cold water
  • clean sponge
What to do:
1. Fill the sink with the same amount of and cold water.
2. Put the dirty dishes into the sink.
3. Then put soap on the sponge.
4. Scrub the dishes with the sponge.
5. Then rinse the dishes with clean water.
6. Put them in an area that the sun shines upon and it will dry up naturally.


7. Wait for it to dry.

We need to wash our dishes after every meal so bad germs don’t spread. Was your Mum or Dad proud of you for cleaning the dishes?

Watch the flower grow!

Materials:
paper
pen-pencil
paint-paint brush
Instructions:
1.Draw four pedals that joins together.
2.Under each pedal draw a line.
3.Ask an adult to cut out the flower.
4.Paint it any colour you like.
5.wait for the paint to dry.
6.Fold the petals down gently.
7.Fill the sink with cold water.
8.watch your floating flower open.
Did your floating flower open up?
